SSI partners AGB Education, a local employability service provider, together with theme park stalwarts KidZania Singapore, to come up with a novel thematic approach to engage local job aspirants who struggle to decide which industry they prefer or who may be unable to get a job.
This unique platform, aptly named ON THE JOB! enables them to experience industries such as retail, security, environmental cleaning, healthcare, hospitality, F&B and Spa and Wellness first hand, all while having fun and opening their eyes to possible employment. This innovative approach has the support of employers, all of whom will be participating in the event with an eye on identifying and hiring talent.
ON THE JOB! is a four-hour evening event which will be held quarterly at KidZania in Sentosa. Entry is free to registered participants. Participants will embark on an eye opening discovery pathway involving real life scenario role play in true to life settings. They will engage in tasks designed to give them a taste of each industry, while allowing them to have fun and widen their horizons. These include working at an authentic spa setup.
